Hi! My name is Felicia, I am 31 years old and interested in your job posting to babysit/nanny for your family. I have been a babysitter and nanny for family and friends for the past 10 years. I am looking for a part time/FT position, available to start December 7. I currently live in the Charlottesville/Scottsville area. My intention is to live, work and play, rooted in well rounded foundations of health and wellness. I recently received my certification to teach kids yoga. Kidding Around Yoga provides an amazing curriculum, designed to motivate children to be active, build confidence and manage the spectrum of emotions that they experience in their day-to-day activities. As a KAY instructor, I could implement these systems that incorporate cardiovascular conditioning, fun & original music, plus all of the traditional benefits of yoga: meditation, breathing techniques, peace, and deep relaxation. As someone who has experienced and recognizes the effects of sugar on the body, I am inspired and motivated by a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. I enjoy cooking, gardening, preserving foods and sharing these experiences with those around me. I was recently a part time nanny for 4 very active farm boys, Ages 3-9 when I first started. We often did activities around the farm, such as playing outside in the sandpit, with animals, gardening tasks and climbing on their jungle gym. I also worked on the farm and absolutely loved the experience. I currently help my sister with her 18 month old boy, cooking meals, cleaning and lots of dancing and singing. Babysitting is something I love doing because each day is a new experience. It’s amazing being part of children's learning and growth. I have lived in homes with dogs and worked on the farm with cats, chickens and ducks. so I would be very comfortable meeting your pets.
