Hi families! My name is Toni Lynn, I am a sophomore at the University of Tennessee; I am back in the Richmond Area for summer & would love to get to know a new family this season! I have been dedicated & had a passion as a nanny with over 2 years of experience providing care and nurturing experiences for children. My journey for childcare began 8 years ago when my little sister was born. Being able to care and have genuine love for her has helped blossom my journey in childcare later becoming a nanny for the sweetest 2 little girls over the past years. I have formed a genuine love for working with kids, being able to witness children grow & develop. Their wonder for the world has truly brought so many smiles to my face & has been truly rewarding to witness as a young adult. I Read more understand that every child is different & I can't wait to embark on a new journey with a new family, as I will cherish their individuality, unique interests, & the various moments along the way! Most of my formal experience is with school aged children, previously babysitting 2 little girls, initially the younger girl being 6 & the older sister being 10. My daily duties were interacting with the girls, helping with homework and projects, playing with them, preparing snacks/dinner, taking them to extracurricular activities, & supporting them in any way they needed-whether that be emotionally or attending competitions, games, & recitals. I have truly fallen in love watching these girls grow, but unfortunately their amazing family is moving over this summer & I'm looking for a new family to get to know and help out! Beyond my formal babysitting experience, I have had child care experience with other ages. As a private tennis instructor, I utilized my leadership & encouragement with age appropriate coaching skills to help teach the basics of tennis to a middle school aged girl. I have also had over 8 years of real life experience helping raise my little sister. I have helped throughout the duration of her life from helping change diapers, to her toddler years, to now her 2nd grade experiences. In addition to my hands-on experiences, I have received my CPR certification ensuring I am well-prepared to handle a situation like this with confidence. I also have my drivers license with over 3 years of driving experience if needed to take to extracurricular activities! I am so excited for what a new family has to bring & I can't wait to get to know the new children's unique personalities!
