Hello my name is Katelynn Wood I started taking childcare class and red cross class's at the age 17. I knew it was what I wanted to do I loved seeing a smile on a child's face and also knowing I could make a difference in not only their lives but also in the familys. When I was 19 I got hired to take care of 3 children ages 5,10,14 my duties were to get them up for school and to make sure they got on the bus safely. Also had afternoon duties such as get dinner ready receive them off the bus make sure they did their home work and get them ready for bed. We also did arts and crafts and some light baking and walked to the park so we could play I also did house cleaning and what ever else the family required of me. My Read more experiences as a nanny/ baby sitter were wonderful. They became apart of my family and those children will always be special to me taking care of children has a lot of responsibility and definitely teach's family/life values.
