I am supplementing my income with regular part-time/evening/weekends babysitting/relief nanny or pet setting work. Ideally, I would like a regular 20-25 part-time job. I wish there was a babysitter like me when I was raising my girls (25 and 27). I love children of all ages and consider it my privilege and duty to keep them engaged and safe. Over the years I have cared for every age and was even a girl Scouts Leader -- the “cookie mom,” when my girls were young. But if you asked me my favorite age I would say: newborns. I have always had dogs (Border Terrier,ShebaInnu, Labradoodle, Ridgeback) and right now am helping to train my sister’s Cavapoo. My only real philosophy is to keep the TV off as much as possible. That and to follow the families philosophy. I like to play board games. Dolls too, and arts and crafts with anyone who Read more will play with me. I will clean up after all projects. I was a lifeguard many years back and have taught hundreds of kids how to swim. I have a degree in Nutrition so I am a pretty decent cook. I am happy to make dinner if that fits into the schedule.
