Hello my name is Ashia Christian and I am looking for part time employment with a family in the Northern Virginia/dmv area. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and teens. I'm torn; I want to write this review so you all know how great Ashia is, but I don't want to have to compete for her availability. We have only asked for her help once so far, but definitely plan to again. She is a professional and comes with lots of experience. It's apparent. She proactively asked me for a list of dos/donts and wanted to discuss routine. She followed everything and sent me status updates. She played lots with the kids and the kids really liked her. She carries herself well, which is what impressed me the most. I trusted her in my house and with my children, she had to impress me. I checked her recent reference who spoke highly of her as well. She was punctual for her interview and on the night she sat for us and she is responsive. Definitely at the top of our babysitter list.
