Hi, I’m Katie! I have been babysitting for 6 years for kids ages 6 months- 11 years. My favorite activities to do with kids are playing sports/games, doing crafts, reading books, playing make-believe, playing outside, dancing, and singing. I think it's very valuable to get down to the kids' level and do what they find interesting. If that's laying with them while they do tummy time/roll or crawl around I'm happy to do that! I can help with homework, household work, cook meals, and prepare bottles. I live in Fairfax and I have a car. I am currently in school 4 days a week and in my free time, I figure skate, play guitar and bass, and of course babysit! I also love to serve in the special needs ministry at my church! I am certified in adult and pediatric CPR, first aid, and AED and I can send you the certificate if requested. I have a dog and I love and am comfortable around all pets! I have experience watching 4 kids at a time but I am comfortable watching more. I come from a family with 3 younger sisters and lots of younger cousins so I am very comfortable around kids. Starting April 10th I have consistent availability Monday 8am-2pm Tuesday 4:30pm-10:30pm Wednesday 8am-1pm I'm also available some Monday nights, Thursday nights, Friday nights and weekends. Starting May 9th I will also have consistent availability Tuesdays 8am-2pm Thursdays 8am-2pm I recently joined this website so I don’t have reviews but I can provide very strong references if needed. My rate is flexible and I’m willing to negotiate it based on job descriptions. I have the basic background check one but if you want to run further background checks on me I’d be happy to do one.
