Hello Parents! My name is Lisa and I am a mother of 2 children who are 16 and 19 years old. My son is a first year student at Virginia Tech and my daughter is in the 10th grade. When my children were younger I wanted to stay home but needed to still make money so I started an in home daycare and preschool. I love children and always wanted to be a baby nurse or teacher. Life always takes in different directions obviously. I was able to stay home with my children up until my oldest was in middle school. I still miss all of the children I kept in my home and stay in touch with quite a few family members to this day so I have great references. I believe in teaching children to be kind and loving to those around them. If a children needs to Read more be talked to about something then I believe in getting on my knees to their eye level and communicating with them versus just punishing them. The world would be a kinder place if everyone would just be compassionate and kind to one another and this starts with what we are teaching our children. I love kids and they love me because I love to be silly and play with them as well as find interesting things to keep them engaged in while learning at the same time. I will love your child as if they are my own and you would have to never worry if they are being cared for because I love to send updates to parents via videos or pictures. I personally can't wait for the day down the road when I am a grandma!
