Hi, my name is Lizzy, I am new to the area and am currently working on my Graduate degree at VCU. I am looking to supplement my income and meet people in the community by babysitting and helping out families. I have over 15 years experience working with children (I started babysitting when I was around 13) and for the past 10 years my career has focused on working with children and families and learning about child development. For the past 5 years I worked as a nanny for two separate families. The first family with 3 children ages 0-5, and the second with 4 (all boys) ages 3-12. Before that I worked as a preschool teacher for 5 years working with children ages 0-6 I got experience working with children with various behavioral needs and special needs in this setting and for 2 1/2 years of that time I Read more ran my own classroom. I also have 2 years experience working with an elderly woman in her 90s who had dementia and mobility difficulties. I really love helping families and caring for people in the community.
