Hello! My name is Alina and I am a HR Professional working from home. I have aspirations of owning a side hustle business, so here I am working for extra cash to squirrel away. I am available most evenings and most weekends to help with your families needs! About me: BS in Kinesiology from Longwood University HR Assistant 8-5pm M-F (very flexible can be 8-4P or 7-3P or include a 2-3 hour window depending on needs) I am an auntie x4 and have helped in the newborn infant care - school age care. I am a very involved caregiver and love to create an environment where children are engaged, entertained and hopefully even learning something too! I do not have a degree in education, but like to say that I have been "trained in education". The reason I say this is because from 2013-2016 I worked at Kindercare learning center Read more over the summers and winter breaks. There I worked as a second to the lead teachers in each class room. Here I learned about behavioral development, gross and fine motor development and even how to lesson plan. So though I am NOT a professional, I am very well equipped to handle kids all shapes and sizes. Activities I love to provide/do with kids: - outdoor "obstacle course", structured play and races: include cones, ball dribbling, mini hurdles, jump ropes and other things on hand. In all of my outdoor recreation I draw from my Bachelors degree and from my experiences in schools to provide kids with a way to not only burn energy but learn coordination and build a strong foundation! - Arts and crafts time but with a purpose. I want them to create something based on a "prompt" that we come up with. I've had kids show me poster presentations, create mood/story boards and even come up with business plans using information we search & graphics we find in newspaper/magazines. - Nature hikes and walks where we go and explore your neighborhood/ surrounding trails and parks. I worry kids these days aren't playing in nature like we used to growing up in NOVA. I want to make sure they get to do that:) I always loved going back in the woods and exploring, and with my supervision kids will learn more than they need to know about the flora and fauna in our region(: (I used to be a girl scout and graduated with a gold award which is the equivalent to eagle scout in Boycouts) - I am happy to help with extracurriculars and transportation if that is a need for your family- please note I do not have car seats so that would be something we need to install (if you need me to keep them in there I am happy to do so- may need to remove every once in a while for special occasions but can get them put back into place at the firestation) - Chores! I make them fun (: I would love to help develop your kids cleaning skills. Other services I can provide: ** Services will be completed outside of care hours.. often I will come before a set sitting time on the same day, or another day completely. Please note if your children have an early bed time I will also do this type of work then. ** - Grocery shopping and meal preparation! If you are having trouble getting healthy meals on the table for you and your children I CAN HELP. With my background as a personal trainer, my BS in Kinesiology and my love for cooking (I have taken many classes) you will get some really flavorful well rounded and nutrient dense meals. Keep them fresh or freeze them for a later date, you will not be dissapointed. Please request a consultation so we can go over goals, restrictions, preferences etc. - Cleaning! I can help clean your house (and always like to leave the house better than I found it either way). With my siblings, I know how far behind you can get on cleaning. Kids are exhausting and you have barely any time to do everything none the less tend to your baseboards. I am here to help. We can set a date for me to come in and deep clean your home.
