I love being a sitter because working with children brings me so much joy and purpose. Every child is unique, and I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and express themselves freely. I have several years of experience working with children through the YMCA’s before- and after-school program, where I lead activities, assist with homework, and encourage positive behavior. I’ve also worked with kids of various ages, from preschoolers to elementary students, which has strengthened my communication, patience, and leadership skills. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and have completed multiple child care training certifications recognized by the state of Virginia. Along with my background in business management and one psychology course, I’ve gained a strong understanding of how to support each child’s individual needs while ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
