I am currently a student at James Madison University studying Elementary Education. I am looking for a summer job to help me gain experience in my field. I have worked around children in the past through different clubs and organizations. I volunteered at church camps and mission trips and at several programs at the elementary schools. At JMU I am a member of Big Brother Big Sisters which serves the children of the local community. I am also a member of Rotaract were I read to children at the elementary schools in the morning before school begins. I participate on the Gus Bus, which is a traveling library that reads and does activities with children in the surrounding communities. I also participate in NAST, an organization for future science teachers that host STEM days and engages children in science. I have a passion for children and their happiness and success.
