Hello 🤍, I’m interested in the Nanny position you’re looking to fill! Please let me introduce myself and share a little bit about my experience: I’m Laura Daniela Franco. I’m from Colombia, I’m 24 years old, and I have extensive experience with childcare as an Au pair here in America. I’m a fast learner and I can easily adapt to caring for children of all ages. I have experience taking care of babies, toddlers and older children (1 - 12 years old). I pride myself on building genuine connections with the children I care for and I intentionally make myself an active participant in their learning and development processes. While I was in Colombia I participated in many social programs such as missions, children’s festival organizations, and regular visits to children’s institutions. Commitment is one of my greatest qualities, along with my ability to develop strong and lasting interpersonal relationships. I love to meet new people, learn about new cultures, share my perspective with others from around the world, and have a positive impact on everyone I encounter. I enjoy the outdoors a lot, so I could take your kiddos out for things like hiking, biking, and even camping! Furthermore, I love arts and crafts and finding some quiet time to read a good book. I think both arts and crafts and reading are essential in a child’s cognitive development, considering both activities help children to focus and stimulate their imaginations. Additionally, I always also enjoy lots of playtime with children under my supervision 🙂 Studies have demonstrated that play improves the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional wellbeing of children and young people.
