I am a recent graduate of the University of Virginia currently seeking employment in childcare. At UVA, I majored in Education with most courses focusing on child development and psychology. In addition to my coursework, I have many hours of experience with tutoring and mentoring children of various age groups. I love to read with children and enjoy getting them excited about education! I prefer to be an engaged caretaker and am always willing to get involved in any kind of play. In addition, I have two summers of experience working with large classrooms at a local gym's childcare program. This position required supervision of children taking part in a range of activities, including swimming, hiking, and physical games.
