Teaching and working with children is my biggest passion. While attending college, I worked at an extended learning center for three years where I created and taught lessons in a variety of subjects to students ages 6-13. I graduated from VCU in 2011 with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies for Early and Elementary Education and in July of 2014, I completed training to receive my Montessori primary certification. After exploring the Montessori world for over five years, I felt I wanted to continue my path in the public field. I currently hold a Virginia State teaching license and have taught second grade in Waynesboro Public City Schools for the past two years.
