i have 4 children and one grandchild. I've been married for 32 years and have been active with children in some way for 34 years. I've worked at a daycare in Seattle WA, then opened my own in home daycare and ran it for 12 years. When my children were all in school I started volunteering at their school which led to a job as a special education teachers aide and varsity cheer coach for their school in Kalama WA. I had to quit these jobs when my husband was transferred to the east coast. There I became active in my daughters elementary schools PTA, was a leader for her Girl Scout Troop and taught Sunday school at our church. A year ago my husband's job led us to the Chicago area.
