Hi! My name is Ivanna Baez and I've had the challenging yet rewarding experience working with children from all age groups (newborn, infant, toddler, teen). Over the course of six years, I've had the opportunity to work at as a Teacher Assistant at George Mason University Child Development Center working with children ages two to five. I've also had the opportunity to work as a Substitute Teacher and Camp Counselor at Chinn Aquatics & Fitness Center. Most recently, I nannied for a family (4 kids) in Falls Church, VA for a whole school year. These opportunities have given me the chance to better my communication skills with children, provide an educational environment, and most importantly, have fun with the kids. Working in these positions, I've undergone background checks, First Aid & CPR trainings, and safety workshops. The knowledge I've learned from attending these classes are applied everyday. In addition, I'm Read more trained to change diapers and comfortable doing so. The safety and care for any child is my upmost priority and I assure you, it will always be a main priority. If you have a specific instructions and requests I'm more than happy to oblige by them. I'm more than comfortable folding laundry, light housekeeping (loading and unloading dishwasher), and I'm a dog owner myself so if you have a pet, no worries! I'll take them on walks together!
