Welcome to my profile! As a former NCAA Division 1 student-athlete on a swimming and diving team, I bring a unique blend of discipline, organization, and compassion to my role as a nanny. Throughout my collegiate career, I excelled both in the pool and in the classroom, earning recognition on the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 academic years. In addition to my athletic achievements, I was honored to be selected as the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) State Rookie Diver of the Year and earned Second-Team All-State accolades during the 2020-21 season. These experiences instilled in me a strong work ethic, resilience, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations. Outside of athletics, I was actively involved in the Best Buddies Organization throughout my high school years, where I had the privilege of forming meaningful connections with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Best Read more Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering friendships, leadership development, and inclusive communities for individuals with disabilities. Through my involvement, I gained valuable communication skills, empathy, and a deep appreciation for diversity and inclusion. With a bachelor's degree under my belt, I understand the importance of education and lifelong learning. I believe that my college experience has equipped me with the knowledge, patience, and creativity to support children in their academic endeavors and personal growth. Whether it's helping with homework, encouraging curiosity, or fostering a love for learning, I am committed to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for the children I care for. While I may be new to the world of professional nannying, I am eager to leverage my skills, experiences, and passion for childcare to positively impact the lives of families. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
