Meet Jacki

I have recently made the decision to relinquish my career in marketing and business management to return to my favorite job of all times -- caring for children. Count on me to be actively engaged in reading, writing, art, music, cooking, exercising, and exploring. I am the mother of two recent college graduates who are active, healthy and kind young adults. As a business owner for much of their developmental years, I had the good fortune of raising them myself much of the time. I did appreciate the help of caregivers when jobs demanded my full attention. When my kids were little, I worked with a friend in her daycare business. Over the years, I have served as a volunteer in an arts program for homeless kids, a elementary school ski program, and in an environmental learning program. I also served as Education Director for a regional theater for three Read more years. Of course, children's safety, comfort, and happiness are always first priority. But as time allows, I am happy to keep things clean and tidy. I also love to cook. While at 55, I am youthful for my age, but I also bring a level of maturity, experience, reliability and commitment that you might not find with a younger nanny.
