I have been babysitting and playing with children for as long as I can remember. I grew up with younger cousins and I always took care of them and entertained them when they came to visit. When I was in High School and College I nannied for a family with three children, ages 3, 6 and 8, for three summers. I was with the kids 5 days a week. I made them meals and drove the older two around Washington D.C. to their camps, while the youngest stayed with me all day. We also spent a few weeks on Martha's vineyard where we got to play and explore. I loved those kids and they loved me. During college I nannied for 4 different families in Burlington, Vermont. I also took care of their animals, house sat, cooked and cleaned for them. More recently I have been nannying for younger children. Read more I nannied a 16 month old for the whole past year. It was amazing to see her grow and change so much week to week. I have also been taking care of a five month old. I now have my own little niece who is 10 months old. I take care of her twice a week as well. I also have experience working as a classroom teacher and a coach in elementary and high schools. I can't wait to have my own babies, but I want to go to graduate school first. In the meantime I would love to continue spending time and having fun with children because it makes me so happy!
