My name is Reilly Loynd and I am returning home to Concord, MA after graduating from Bard College, where I earned my Bachelors degree in Human Rights with a concentration in criminal justice reform, and then spending a year as an Avodah Jewish Service Corps member in New Orleans, LA. I have provided child care in various capacities; as a short-term babysitter, long-term nanny, summer camp counselor, and juvenile detention center tutor, throughout the past 10 years and care a lot about encouraging positive youth development. Professionally, I am interested in contributing to Juvenile Justice issues as it relates to avoiding harsh sentences for young people, providing ample diversion opportunities, and working to achieve better access to educational resources in juvenile detention centers. Personally, I am a lifelong ballet dancer, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, painting playing with pets, and gardening- especially with kids! I have babysat for kids of Read more almost all ages (most recently, I supported a 6 going on 7-year-old attend remote 1st-grade classes last Fall and have been babysitting for a family with a 9 and 13-year-old for the past few weeks). I'm open to kids of all ages and eager to get to know yours!
