I've been a nanny for twelve years and adore the work I do. I have experience with all ages from newborn to teens. I’m also a trained birth and postpartum doula and lactation consultant. My caregiving style is with a gentle, hands-off approach. I love to watch children as they figure things out and assist as needed, but letting them lead the way and set the pace is very important to me. I would not be comfortable in a setting where spanking is used or expected of the caregiver.
