I’ve had the privilege of teaching for 18 years with the ages birth to preschool, special-needs, elementary to high school .. I am also a mom of two teenagers.. what I enjoy most about teaching is being able to experience the joy of watching children learn about their environment and also being able to teach them about life and how to enjoy life... enjoy the outdoors ,animals and more importantly enjoy learning..I am a little bit of a hippie.. I do practice and teach meditation and yoga . I’m very active outdoors and I feel it is important for children to get that outside time. As well..While working for eight years as a therapeutic educator and mostly dealing with children that have been through some type of trauma in their lives ..I feel it is important that children learn to express themselves, learn to center themselves and understand their emotions Read more , feelings and how to express that in a positive way.
