I moved from my home state of Tennessee about two years ago to attend college here, where I'm just finishing my second year in Russian Studies. Other people would describe me as responsible, patient, and quiet. I grew up in a farming community, so I'm comfortable around most animals. I'm a bookworm at heart and I would love to imprint an appreciation of reading on the next generation. I'm always ready for an adventure, and I particularly enjoy aerial obstacle courses. Prior to moving, I helped take care of a 7-year-old boy with autism, whom I encouraged to overcome his fear of water and taught him to swim above and below the water. I always wanted a younger sibling growing up, so having the opportunity to be that roll model to other children is rewarding to me.
