Meet Cristine

I always say that I am a “grandma in training” as I do not have grandchildren yet; so, the next best thing for me is to be “grandma” to families who need an experienced nanny (who cared for three of her own who are now independent, responsible, loving and caring adults). My nanny experience started in the 90’s as the “part-time queen” in which I accepted on-call emergency jobs such as: sick kids who were not allowed to be in school; parents out of town; sitters call in sick; new mommy needing help with newborn). In 2015, I accepted a full-time nanny job for a family of four. My priority was to care for the 4mo baby boy, and a few hours with his 4yo sister. Worked closely with mom re. breastfeeding, healthy meal prep, bathing, reading out loud, singing, playing, teaching, & watching the baby grow & thrive, potty Read more training, nap schedules, doctor appts. and with everyday outings (zoo, parks, library, museums) and helped with errands (Costco & groceries, cleaners run). I was employed with this family until they moved abroad in 2017. In 2018, I accepted another full-time nanny job for a family of three. Again, my priority was to care for the 4mo baby girl. Worked closely with mom & dad, as they worked at home in their separate offices, re. breastfeeding, meal prep, bathing, reading out loud, singing, playing, teaching & watching the baby grow & thrive, potty training, nap schedules, doctor appts. and with everyday outings (zoo, parks/playgrounds, library, museums) also helped with errands (Costco run, groceries, butcher, cleaners, drop off at grandma’s). Mom had her second baby in 2020; nanny duties evolved to juggling schedules for both infant and toddler (nap schedules, feeding, potty training, drop-off & pick-up), plus all basic & fun nanny duties mentioned above. I experienced being a “grandma” and loved it! I did date nights/overnight stays which helped mom & dad find themselves again; thus, unwind & relax from their very busy work schedules. They are now a family of four, both girls (5yo & 3yo) are in full-time school (8am-5pm), and had to let me go; but, I am still open for date nights and overnight stays. Therefore, I am seeking yet another family to be grandma to!
