Hello! First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Marta Sanchez Calvo, and I am from Canary Islands (Spain). I came here in 2012, pursuing my dream of becoming a Communications Specialist, which I achieved with honors in the major from CSUDH. I am currently working at a small daycare called Blossom in Bellevue. I have always loved children, and I believe that it is our duty as adults to guide them through the difficult steps in life to be able to have a healthy future generation ruling our future. That is why I volunteered at the daycare that I went to in Tenerife for seven years every summer, and as soon as I came here, I found a legal way to keep doing it (even if it meant to volunteer my time until I was able to work legally). That may be the reason why I got Read more awarded by the city of Long Beach for my commitment to the Long Beach BLAST (Better Learning for All Students Today) program on June 6th, 2016 at the LB yacht club by Patric O'Donnell. I was in a Catholic school for 15 years back in my Island, and you must've heard how strict those schools are, so I know many things about the protocol and etiquette for business meetings as well as many other different events which I have no problem passing down to your children because my Catholic school was an only-girls school, so we had many classes related to lady-like stuff like of how to sew and how to walk with a dictionary on your head to make sure you walk straight and all those things that were for ladies to learn back in the day. I am a very reliable person; I own my car, and I have a valid driver license (as well as a passport and a visa). I am in the process of getting my residency, so I don't have any problems going through a background check, DMV check and a blood test if you need it too. I just passed my TB test on August as well as my Covid test which I can show (or email) the results. I also have my Washington State Food Worker Card from the Public Health (I can cook for the kids). I have my Safe Sleep Certification from WA State. I have my early child development certification and child care basis from Washington State. And I have my First Aid and CPR/AED for adults, children and infants from Washington state as well.
