Hello! My name is Joel and I would love to be a helpful contributor to your family's needs! I spent several years working in an after school program with kids of all ages at my local community center, as well as a camp counselor during the summer for the center's day camp, caring for groups of 10-15 kids at a time. I also consistently worked a multitude of babysitting jobs outside of this for both families from the community center and my own neighbors, with everything in between evening stays to full day sitting jobs. I love working with kids, taking an interest in the things that they enjoy and helping them to grow while also providing parents with a trusted and responsible caregiver that they can feel comfortable leaving their kids with for extended periods of time. I try to always take a fun but stern approach to babysitting Read more and nannying built on mutual respect. I am always quick to discipline in the proper but patient manner when a child is acting in a way that they shouldn't be, but also want them to feel comfortable around me so ideally they know if they don't act out then I will always treat them respectfully. A little bit more about me: I love listening to and playing music, watching sports and am also an avid reader. I also love to cook and am happy to cook meals for your kids at any given job.
