I grew up in a very big family. If I wasn't watching my siblings, I was watching cousins. I have been taking babysitting jobs since I was twelve when I became Babysitter certified by the American Red Cross. I started with neighbors and ended with a friend of a friend of a friend asking me to come. Also, my mother has been a preschool teacher for over twenty years. I always enjoyed getting to spend a day with her at work. Within my own career, I started out teaching swim instruction to kids Read more ages 3 months - twelve years. Class sizes varied from one on one instruction to a group of five or six. I also participated in the adaptive aquatics department, teaching swim and pool safety to children with special needs. An organization I have stuck to for many years is called Camp Korey; a camp for children with serious and life-altering medial conditions. I have been a Camp Counselor there for a couple of years and continue to volunteer whenever I can. I am currently attending Western Washington University to earn a dual endorsement major in Special Education and Elementary Education.
