Hello, My name is Lacey Pittis and I am a graduate from Western Washington University with a degree in Anthropology Social Studies and am currently back at Western earning my teaching certificate in Secondary Education. Over the last 6 months I have been working in some of the schools in the Bellingham area. I have had the opportunity to build positive relationships with students and work with students to help them grow as individuals. I have an understanding in ACE's and have assisted students who have Individual Education Plans or 504 plans. I want to continue my education by working with children and helping them in everyday life tasks to better understand the students I will be working with in my future.
