Hello! My name is Taylor and I am 25 years old. I graduated from Western Washington University in Dec. 2016, studying Recreation with an emphasis in Tourism. We focused a lot on how to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle through being outdoors, and staying active. This is something I will be able to incorporate in a job working with children. I have had many jobs in customer service and really enjoy being around people! I recently left a nanny job in Washington, where I took care of a little one since she was 6 months old, for two years. I would also sometimes watch her older brother who is now 5. We became best buds and I thoroughly enjoyed that job! I have recently moved to Southern California, and I would love the opportunity to be able to help another family in need of childcare. I have extensive experience Read more babysitting my younger family members since they were born, making sure to incorporate enriching experiences and life building activities for the kids since they were infants, during my time with them. For example, we go on walks to the park, do arts and crafts, cook meals together, and we have even done a couple educational treasure hunts, all the while making sure they were in bed on time and keeping the house tidy. I also worked for the YMCA in the before/after school program, making great connections with the children and parents during my time there.
