For some reason this platform only shows one of the two profile types I created, so I have integrated nanny and babysitter into a single profile. Please note that my rates vary by job and ability to pay. I want to be accessible to all income levels, and I am highly skilled and qualified. If you can't afford my posted rate for occasional babysitting, inquire about a sliding scale fee.
I am interested in occasional babysitting and/or being a back-up care option.
I am looking for a full time long term professional nanny position. I am willing to relocate for the right permanent position, and think due diligence is important for determining goodness of fit prior to committing to a position. Typically a mutual process of basic/screening interview, in depth interview, reference checks, and trial shift. Note that I require at least one reference from a current/former nanny, Read more caregiver, or other household employee.
It is worth noting that I am fully vaccinated and still taking reasonable precautions to prevent spreading covid-19.
I am an educated and well-rounded child-development professional. My work in classrooms, homes, and early childhood organizations all translate to relevant skills as a child development-oriented nanny. I would be delighted to bring my skills, knowledge, and talents to support the optimal development and well-being of your child(ren).
No work is more fulfilling to me than taking the time to appreciate what qualities a little human person comes into the world with, championing their strengths, and guiding them through challenges. I especially enjoy the simple parts that many people take for granted. Things like: a baby learning the sound of their own name, a toddler discovering an object of intense interest, or the way a preschool aged child uses dramatic play to explore questions and ideas.
I am happy to answer questions or provide a more in depth profile for serious inquiries.

Our experience working with Jennifer was exceptional. She's super responsive and called ahead of time to confirm details and made sure she was prepared for all of our 11 month old's needs. Our son is usually shy around new people, but took after her quickly. She's super knowledgable, caring, and attentive. They had so much fun during playtime, and she even helped clean up during naps. We highly recommend working with Jennifer if she happens to be available!
