My name is Leah, I am a mother to 3 beautiful children. Dylan (14), Giuliana (11), and Liam (23 Months). Being a mom is my greatest accomplishment and I love guiding and raising them by nurturing their passion for learning and exploring all things that peak their interest. I have been watching kids since I was 11 years old as I was the go to childcare for our family, friends and all of my nieces and nephews (who were fortunately always around the same age as our children) when parents needed a date night, or just a set of helping loving hands. I was the go to aunt that was lucky enough to have nieces and nephews sent to stay with me for several weeks during the summer so that they could go on adventures with us, and to be loved on and nurtured. I LOVE kids, and I love Read more to learn, play, and explore with them at their level, to be present with them, and engage with them while they take in the world around them. I've spearheaded a youth volunteer program (for the younger kids that often get left out of the normal "youth" volunteer opportunities ) at our church for 3 years. My husband and I bought a restaurant and have been growing this for the past year, but we are now at a point where we feel comfortable with me transitioning to being more present and at home with our children. Specifically our 2 year old Liam since the older two are pretty independent and in school most of the day or helping out at the restaurant. We want Liam to have other kids to learn, grow, socialize and explore with without having to put him in an actual daycare especially when I enjoy getting to care for him, and foster his learning and exploring. We have structured play, exploration, and resting times throughout the day. We love to read together; have a lot of outdoor time. I’m looking to add one or two kids (Nanny Share?) to nurture and care for along with Liam. I am looking to watch the kids in our home that we have childproofed, and geared up for safe and engaging activity time. We cook mainly organic well balance meals (lots of veggies), and I am more than happy to cook enough for all of the children.
