Hello! My name is Liz and I have 7 years of experience in working with children. Throughout those years I have had experience as a camp counselor, a daycare provider for children with special needs, a nanny in Hawaii, a nanny in California, and an ABA therapist for children with autism in Washington. In Hawaii, I cared for a 4-year-old girl, a 2-year-old boy, and a 4-month-old baby girl. I dedicated 40 hours a week to this family for two years. My nanny resoponsibilities included: creating a fun and safe environment, getting the children ready in the morning, preparing meals & bottles, dropping off and picking up children from preschool, changing diapers, potty training & bathing children, doing laundry and light house cleaning, teaching the children good social manners, providing proper discipline when needed, driving the children to daily activities, prepared the children for nap times, playing with children indoors Read more and outdoors, leading the children in educational activities, and giving the children medicine when instructed by their parents. In California, I did a nanny share for two families where I cared for a 9-month-old girl and a 15-month-old-girl. On occasion, I would provide summer care for their siblings who were 2 years-old and 4 years-old. I spent 50 hours a week caring for these children. I can happily say that I still remain in contact with these three families and continue to get updates on their kiddos.
