Welcome! I am a Certified Behavioral Technician / Registered Behavioral Technician looking to nanny again part-time. Before working with children with Autism and other related disorders, I was a nanny for 4 boys while I was in NC. I cared for them at the end of the school years and during the summers. When I moved to WA I received my CBT /RBT. I specialize in ABA therapy. The goal of ABA is to increase behaviors that are helpful, and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning. I also teach social skills, functional communication, reading, and academics. As well as adaptive learning skills, such as fine motor dexterity, hygiene, domestic capabilities, punctuality, and job competence. I believe this could benefit any child and parent! For hobbies I enjoy hiking, taking my dogs to the water, singing, and traveling. So for the most part I try to stay active. On Read more sunny days I always have outside activities planned (unless advise not to), and the same for rainy days. You can always trust your kid(s) will stay engaged in educating activities and have fun while in my care. If you have a toddler I have tons of sensory experience. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I have my own smoke free transportation. My vehicle is cleaned daily after every use, my own COVID protocol. I will wear a mask, sanitize surfaces, and wash my hands frequently when with your children. As well as making sure they do too, and if they don’t know how yet I can teach them!
