I am recently looking for a morning drop off position, an afternoon part time position and/or an all day position for Fridays. I recent had to step down from my full time work at Children’s Home Society to focus on my internship as a therapist during the day. I have over five years of professional childcare experience working as a lead teacher for infants and toddlers for four years and working as a nanny for a year. I have babysat for many families for over a decade and have been with Sittercity since 2016. I have experience transporting children both in car and in small buses. I am CPR/ First Aid trained (recently renewed), I have a large amount of knowledge about child development, I’m fully vaccinated including recently getting the flu shot and soon to be getting a Covid booster per UW requirements. Hello!:) My name is Sofiya but I go by Sofi. I was born in Ukraine and moved to the states when I was still a little girl. I have a really big family so I’ve been helping with the kids since I was 9. I’ve been around newborns consistently throughout my life making me comfortable and confident with newborns, infants, toddlers and older kiddos. I’m very patient and love to have fun with the kiddos like hand painting, taking them to the park or even baking if that’s something the children would like to do. I’m experienced in sleep training and introducing solids to infants and am very patient when it comes to fussy newborns. Greetings, My name is Victoria and I'm 26 years old. I have two children, a energetic, smart, and bouncy 5-year-old girl and a sweet, cuddly, 7 month old baby boy. I recently resigned from my full-time job as a ELL Para Educator at the Highline Public School District to be a stay-at-home mom for my kids. I wanted to be more available to my family, especially my new baby. My job at the school district provided me with the great opportunity to work with elementary aged children. I spent most of the year working with Kindergarteners, tutoring them, encouraging and supporting students who were learning English as their second language. I also ran an after school arts and crafts club for 1st and 2nd graders and I facilitated a ELL homework help club for 3rd and 4th grade students. Previous to the school district job, I worked as a substance abuse counselor for middle school aged and high school aged teenagers. Growing up my mom ran a daycare from our home and as a teenager my role at home was to help her with the kids. I often did arts & crafts, played games, helped with meal/snack time and did story time with the children. As you can see, I have tons of experience with children and I absolutely love working with them. They are such interesting and innocent little people who deserve the best care. I have been babysitting ever since I was 12 years old. I wanted to give back for all the years that I had been taken care of. I took a specific course to become a babysitter and started to babysit my neighbors. I had heard about a course specifically for babysitting, so I took it.
