I recently graduated from grad school and have found the most enriching jobs pre and post graduation, to be ones that center on relationships. There is nothing more satisfying than engaging in a work environment where all lives are enriched by the effort put in and the job requirements met. I've worked on and off as a nanny for 6 years now. I have experience with children from ages 8 months to 6 yrs. I work best with families who are alternately engaged in raising their children to be emotionally grounded and secure, while their energy matches mine. As a nanny I'm not a type A personality. In that I see my job as a nanny to be providing an environment for children where they can feel safe, comfortable with being who they are, and able to think and play creatively in ways that suit their interests.
