Hi I'm Reece! I grew up in Camas and just graduated from CHS last spring. After I graduated I started my gap year, which involved starting a job as a camp counselor and lifeguard at Camp Collins (overnight summer camp). Every week I'd take care of groups of 8-12 kids all different ages (depending on the week). I was responsible for their well being physically and emotionally and learned a lot doing this. Working at a summer camp entails having a lot of fun - I learned a lot about getting kids to have fun at camp. In fact, I'd consider myself an expert in the area. Once summer ended I continued my gap year by enrolling in an EMT program that I finished in early December. Soon after that I received my NREMT license. I am a very friendly, fun, and adventurous person but I always put safety and Read more responsibility first. I'm very adaptive and settle into things easy so I'm ready for whatever responsibilities you need me to be ready for. I leave in March to pursue another summer camp job before starting college, so until then I am free. Seriously, my calendar is empty. I drive an SUV and am more than happy to use that for the job. I think working at Camp Collins is the best work experience I have for this sort of job... But I would like to mention that I do have a lot of experience in the customer service area, did volunteer work at the SWW humane society (I'm cool working with animals), and instructed swim lessons for a little bit.
