I have always been a very nurturing person. From pets to kids, I have always made it my own personal priority to make them feel safe and loved. I started really being interested in being a Nanny when my nephew was born in 2013. I would watch him for my sister in the summers and I loved it. I think my love for kids only grew when we took a foster baby into our home. He had gone through a lot and it was so satisfying to be able to be part of a family who cared about making a difference in this babies life who literally had nothing from the day he was born. After about a 2 years of raising this baby he was placed back with his mother and it was very hard. This did not hold my family back from wanting to help more kids in Read more need though. We later took in two more small children from the same family and had them for about a year as well as took in their oldest sister. The children were eventually placed back with their blood relatives and it never got easier to give back a child you had cared for hand and foot for so long. However it was always rewarding to see how much they had grow and achieved. I really want to make that difference for kids in this world, as they are our future and deserve every chance they can have to make it the best future possible, and if I can aide in changing just one child’s life in a positive manner to any degree, I will take that opportunity every time.
