Hello, my name is Hailey, and I'm a mother of soon-to-be four children. My children are 14, 6, 2, and one on the way. I'm the owner and teacher of a non-profit outdoor co-op style preschool for ages 0-7 years of age. I have taken early childhood education classes in college. I'm also just a few classes shy of obtaining my BA in Child Psychology. I plan to continue online graduate school and earn my MA in Early Childhood Education. I have also just ended a one-year part-time babysitting job for a little boy starting at the age of 8 months. The family recently moved away, but I would be more than happy to provide you with contact information. My teaching method is child-led learning with Waldorf and Montessori influences, as well as nature and the outdoors. We don't have cable, and my children are not allowed to have screen Read more time except on very special occasions. We do explore the great outdoors daily. I like to say that there is no such thing as "bad" weather, but instead just inadequate clothing. That being said, we do stay indoors on stormy days. During our indoor time I love to get creative and work with children on art projects, baking projects, and learning projects. I'm looking for a family who goes by a similar philosophy for the child to feel as if the were an extended part of our family. We are walking distance to the local elementary school in Dupont, WA. I'm mostly open to watching one child for now, but would be open to watching one more if at least one of them was school age.
