I love being a sitter because working with kids truly brings me joy. I enjoy being part of their growth, helping them learn new things, and encouraging their curiosity. I believe in balancing fun and education — I love playing games, doing creative activities, and finding ways to turn everyday moments into learning opportunities. I’ve always been surrounded by kids; my aunt has a toddler, and many of my family members have children I’ve helped care for over the years. Babysitting has been a natural part of my life, and I’ve grown to love the responsibility and trust that comes with it. I find it rewarding to know that I can provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children while giving parents peace of mind. I have over 4 years of babysitting experience with children of various ages, from infants to school-aged kids. I’ve also cared for children during evenings and weekends always ensuring their safety and well-being. I am comfortable handling multiple children at once(3 minimum), adapting to different routines, and building a positive rapport with each child I care for. What skills and training do you have? I bring a combination of formal training and practical skills. In high school, I completed CPR certification training and hold a Bloodborne Pathogen certification. I have the Seal of Biliteracy, meaning I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to communicate with children and families in either language. I completed a childcare course that covered proper care techniques, hygiene, teaching strategies, and how to stay calm and effective in emergencies. I also earned college credit through the Teachers Academy program at CWU College, where I learned about child development, classroom management, and educational engagement. On top of my certifications, I have strong skills in patience, problem-solving, time management, and creating engaging activities that are both fun and educational.
