  • Registered Nurse

I’m a 54 year old married mother of 3 grown children. I am also the middle of 5 children myself so I have a big family. My husband and I just moved to the area from the east coast. I have my BSN from Georgetown University and worked as a nurse until my 3rd child was born in 1999. I was a med/surg nurse and then a pediatric nurse. About 10 years ago, I spent some time as a home care RN. Most recently, I became an optical salesperson at a Target Optical in California and then I worked for a family in NJ with 4 active boys. I loved my job in NJ and I miss those boys. When I described what I did to other people (mothers), I would say, “you know how sometimes you wish there were two of you so you could just get so much Read more more done? Well, that’s what I do”. I am caring, organized, active, creative… In my prior job some of my duties included but we’re not limited to: - driving kids to activities -picking kids up from school - art projects/baking with kids - helping with homework - taking kids to pool, beach, playground - organizing homeowner’s garage while the family was away at their primary home. - organizing playroom, attic, pantry, etc - taking family car to shop for maintenance - errands for mom - eg. grocery shopping, taking returns to FedEx, ups, USPS - wrapping gifts - arranging and monitoring services to home while homeowners were away (eg. Outdoor grill cleaning, receiving furniture deliveries, supervising patio installation) - preparing lunch & snacks - folding laundry, keeping kitchen tidy, helping kids make their beds, keep their bathroom in order, put their toys away after use. My husband and I are professionals who have owned homes ourselves since 1993. I delight in helping to teach and nurture children. I am ideally looking for a part-time, somewhat flexible position. I am very reliable. I do want to be able to take off certain weeks so I can go see my own children, visit my elderly parents, and travel, and that’s why I am not looking for a full-time, non-flexible position. If you are a stay-at-home mother and are looking for help, I would love to meet with you to discuss the potential. I am happy to job share also.
