Growing up as the big sister has created a passion for children. As the eldest of five, I am a natural when it comes to handling chaos. Recently, I graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Human Development. From there, I plan to pursue a Master's in Elementary Education. In the past, I have been a nanny to children from 2 months to 13 years. About three years ago I had the privilege of teaching a preschooler how to read. Currently, I have availability for daytime (9am-2pm) and weekends. I'm animal-friendly, as I have a two small dogs and two bunnies. Additionally, I have background in volunteering for various schools and a baseball team. While I'm watching children, I love to play board games as well as arts and crafts. If you would like a creative and responsible sitter, feel free to contact me. Thank you!

Lexi took care of our daughter 2-3 days per week, 5-6 hours per day after our move across country while we were getting settled in. We had not registered our daughter in a school prior to arriving in the area so we hired Lexi to take care of our daughter temporarily while my wife worked from home. Our daughter had come from being in a full time daycare back home and Lexi was very patient and kind working with our daughter to try and get her on a schedule/routine during the transition. She interacted with our daughter the entire time and would do creative activities and crafts with her when they were not playing or reading. She watched our daughter out of our home while my wife worked out of the home office and Lexi was very good at trying to minimize any interruptions while my wife worked. We highly recommend Lexi!

Lexi has worked for us for approximately one month. We initially hired her for backup childcare. However, shortly after hiring Lexi, one of our new caregivers was unable to work for us. Being short on child care providers, we asked Lexi to fill in the gaps of regular care. She now picks up our daughter from daycare 3 days a week. Lexi has been fantastic. She is willing, when able, to stay late which has been such a help as one of us has recently starting traveling for work. Lexi reads a lot, does dramatic play on a regular basis and is consistently on time. She has even stepped in and cooked dinner for our daughter. We would recommend Lexi to our friends.
