Hello there, my name is Faith. I'm a naturally creative and fun-loving individual, which translates well into the activities I plan for children. I am trustworthy, reliable, resourceful and I enjoy incorporating arts and crafts (with materials that you have on hand), storytelling, and interactive games into their daily routines. My goal is to make sure every moment spent with me is both enjoyable and safe for the children. My hands-on experience has equipped me with the skills to handle various situations, from diaper changes for infants to organizing age-appropriate activities for toddlers and preschoolers. Building a strong rapport with children is at the heart of what I do. I take the time to understand their interests and preferences, tailoring activities to create a positive and lasting connection. Whether it's imaginative play or educational games, I strive to make every interaction memorable. Effective communication is key in childcare. I ensure open and transparent communication with both children and parents. Regular updates and clear discussions help in creating a positive and trusting relationship with the families I work with. While I haven't had formal paid experience in childcare yet, I bring a wealth of personal experience and a genuine passion for working with children. For over 30 years, I have had the privilege of caring for children ranging from 1 month to 16 years old within family and social circles, however I currently do prefer to work up to 7 years old. This hands-on experience has allowed me to develop a keen understanding of their needs and interests.
