Hello! My name is Jessica, I'm an outgoing recent college graduate who loves children of all ages. I recently got married and moved from Arizona to Washington to be with my husband. This past May, I graduated from the University of Arizona and majored in Physiology and Medical Sciences. I am also a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician so I have medical training and I am CPR certified for adults, children, and infants. Throughout my undergraduate, I babysat for a toddler and helped potty train him. I also volunteered in the NICU as a cuddler for babies with neonatal abstinence syndrome, which is a condition newborns have when they are exposed to drugs in the womb. Thus, I have a lot of experience consoling newborns who are extremely irritable. Since graduating, I have been nannying full-time for an infant. A little about my background: I am the oldest of 15 Read more cousins so growing up, I was the family babysitter. I also am an aunt to three rambunctious nephews who I have babysat since they were all infants. Please don't let my paid experience be a deterrent because I have been babysitting family members for the last 10 years. I have always loved the outdoors and I am an avid runner so if you are looking for someone who can run around with children, I am the perfect fit. Additionally, I have tutored my entire life and both of my parents are educators, so I understand how this pandemic has impacted families trying to homeschool.
