Hello! I’m Annie, a UW Seattle Junior. Currently, I’m back home in Kirkland taking classes online and keeping a very small circle during covid. I’ve done community theater most of my life which not only involved performing but engaging with kids (ages 8-18). I also have been consistently babysitting my little cousins for a few years (ages 3, 5, and 11) and volunteered in high school to work with students with special needs/disabilities (ages 15-18). I’ve also taken several courses at UW Seattle for my intended psych major. These classes included relevant background regarding early development and mental disabilities. Most recently, I ended my babysitting position at Bright Horizons Oasis Backup Care. While it’s given me a ton of experience with a variety of age groups and disabilities, this was not ideal during covid as I was working with many families at once. Thankfully, I have tested negative since my Read more time there. Fun Fact! I have a strong interest and lots of experience in the arts, so i’ll especially love music/art related activities with kids!
