Hi, I'm Brooke. I used to babysit a lot and now have a 5 year old of my own. I have always loved kids but now I love them even more. I understand it is important to be patient with them and understand their needs in order to build a good relationship. As for the moment since my son is having to attend school online any care I provide would have to be in my home. I am however willing to pick up and drop off depending on time if needed. He just has to be online for a couple hours and hardly any assistance but I stay in the living room in case he does. So if I were to be sitting another kid I would easily be able to focus my attention on them. After his live session (ends at 8:40-11am) we usually have lunch together and do Read more something fun outdoors if the weather permits or board games or other activities if it does not. He is extremely social and well behaved and would love to have a friend around. Even if it were a smaller kid or baby, he is very gentle and loving. We also own 2 dogs and a cat that usually love kids and vice versa. A little side note on them I find important: One of them is a husky that does tend to get excited when people walk in the door so I usually just crate her for the beginning period until she calms so no jumping accidents happen. The other just barks at strangers (specifically grown men) so he seems obnoxious at first but he is very gentle with kids and just wants love. I have experience with and am comfortable with every age group of kids. I was CPR certified but I believe it just expired and am willing to get that renewed if preferred and probably will either way soon. Once schools open back up I will be able to provide care at others homes but for now I would love to provide care in mine, there are lots of toys and activites here for them :) Please let me know if you have any questions at all!
