Hello families! I have 35 years of experience working with babies, children and young people, many of whom have had additional support needs. Over my career I have looked after multiples, have traveled extensively with families and have also spent a number of years working in education settings. I am fortunate to absolutely love my career, and have kept in close contact with a number of my previous families. Looking after children has kept me super fit and healthy, and I love organising exciting trips and activities as well as indoor crafts and baking. Reading is a huge priority of mine and your children will be immersed in literature from the day I arrive. I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and have many other complimentary qualifications e.g. Language and literacy certificates, play based learning qualifications, outdoor learning awards, effective leadership in childcare qualifications, and many more. I have spent much of my career working for HNW families who have exceptionally high standards, and I keep these standards with all people I work for. I am Scottish and my Husband is from Washington state. We have recently returned here to settle permanently, and I am looking for a lovely new family to join on a long term basis. I have held a paediatric first aid certificate from the UK throughout my career, and recently took a paediatric and CPR course here in WA so I have all the latest info and procedures used in the US. I would describe my style of nannying as very kind, nurturing and fun. I am firm but fair and work very well with parents to support the development of each child I look after. Nothing is a trouble, and I always go above and beyond to create peace, harmony, love and support in each home. I look forward to meeting you.
