Hi! My name is Chelsea Schroeder and I am looking to be a caregiver for a caring and fun family. I believe that the best thing for children is to let them be as active as possible throughout the day and most importantly for their caregiver to be involved and active with them. I love to engage children in activities that stimulate all of their senses such as finger painting, planting flowers, making sandwiches, walking, coloring, reading, or playing hopscotch. Activity and creativity are of the utmost importance to a child's development and happiness. Professionally, I have been an elementary school special education para-professional. As such, I gained wonderful experience and knowledge of how to engage children with various personalities and abilities and how to cater to their educational needs. In the past, I volunteered at an after-school program offered by my church where I was an assistant teacher. I Read more have also been a nanny before and it was something I truly looked forward to each morning. Other than that, I am a mother to an infant and have recently fallen in love with teaching key, early development skills. Teaching and caring for children brings me so much joy and I look forward to the opportunity to get started again.
