To give you a brief history of me..... 1979-1984 worked at McCleary Day Care 1984-1989 had my own children and babysat friend's children 1989-2002 my son started kindergarten and my daughter started preschool and I started working at Olympic Christian Academy where they attended school to pay for their tuition. I was a Teacher's Aid and helped with the reading program. I also taught Preschool for several of those years at OCA and Kindergarten one year, using a pre-written curriculum. 2008 my first grandchild was born! the second one in 2001! I also have 2 wonderful step grandchildren! I did attend a few workshops while working at the Day Care and Seminars each year that I worked at the school. Prior to working at the Day Care I was a Sunday School Teacher and have been a Sunday School Teacher off and on since then. I am a Christian. I Read more believe children are able to learn a lot if the caregiver spends time playing and working with them. My attitude is to do my best to be positive and calm in every situation. The reason I am looking for a job at this time is that my last job as an Administrative Assistant was eliminated February 28th. I am comfortable with dogs if you have them but prefer not to be around cats.
