Experience: I have been babysitting since I was twelve and nearly every weekend in middle and high school I was booked by several families to watch 3-5 children ranging in age from infant to 13. I was reputable enough as a sitter that the parents would coordinate their date nights to work with my schedule. One of these families reserved me nearly every Friday for over two years. Your child’s/children’s safety is important to me! I am a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) with 6 months experience adding smiles to faces of the elderly. I am certified in CPR and first aid with specialized training for dementia, diabetes and I have a food handler’s permit. I believe children are born to learn and I enjoy finding new ways to keep them engaged. I am a patient but firm teacher and work well with children of all ages. English is my first Read more language and I speak a little Spanish and I know basic American Sign Language. I also play the flute and basic piano. Through the process of earning my Associates Degree I have having taken math though statistics and I am able to help children with school work. I spent 6 months in a culinary program and enjoy helping kids learn their fractions while making special presentations for the family. I enjoy the challenge of potty training or teaching children the alphabet, numbers, colors, and other basics that help the children in school. I am open to learning and trying new things. I love reading and telling children stories and many times I encourage them to help me come up with stories keep them engage and help them feel included About me: I am LDS and the eldest of five children (two girls and three boys). I DO NOT smoke, I DO NOT drink, I DO NOT USE drugs, or participate in reckless activities or past times. I enjoy teaching individuals how to do basic ballroom and Latin dance, cooking, baking, and sewing. I am very comfortable with animals and don’t have allergies to cats or dogs. As I have been attending school until recently I have been using the bus system and only recently obtained my license. My car will be serviceable shortly. Thank you for your consideration.
