Hey there! My name is Tessa and I was born and raised in the PNW. I come from a long line of teachers and educators so I've learned not just to watch kids while babysitting but to actively address their social and emotional needs. Having the responsibility of caring for someone's child/children is so much more than just pickups and drop off from school, snack time, and watching their favorite Disney movie…again. It’s about being their support system through ups and downs, recognizing teachable moments and life lessons, and helping them become independent thinkers. I’m in my senior and only months away from completing my bachelor's in Psychology. Due to COVID, my hobbies have become more limited, but I enjoy face timing my family, and watching documentaries. I've babysat the cutest baby boy who was only a few months old, to 4 kids at a time two of which had Read more developmental disabilities. I love making each day an adventure whether that be having fun baking, cooking, painting, pillow forts, dress up, and using our imaginations to escape the monotony of quarantine. And of course, any Zoom classes or homework that needs to be done. I genuinely enjoy looking after children and would love the opportunity to be a nanny or babysitter for your family. Thank you.
